Election for the 2015-16 Board of Directors

This year members of ASCSP will select  a new President, Treasurer and two new Board members. If you wish to see the duties of these positions please visit the bylaws page of this website. The top vote getter (s) in each area will win the position.

President candidates

Peter Caputo CCSP

Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the cost segregation field at Deloitte, where he has led the national market offering for 4 years.  He has degrees in Civil Engineering and Accounting and  was a prior Board Member with the ASCSP.  He has participated in MQS development and is involved on the standards committee and has been a vocal “big 4” view of issues affecting our industry and organization for many years.

 Cathy Harris CPA, CCSP

Cathy is a shareholder at Harbor Tax Group. She has performed cost segregation studies since 2001 and has been an active member of the ASCSP since its inception. As a member of the technical standards committee, Cathy assisted in developing and maintaining the ASCSP’s Minimum Quality Standards. She is the current vice president and has served in the positions of secretary and director in previous years.

 

Treasurer candidates

 

Rod Axtell CCSP

Rod is the Director of Cost Segregation at Eide Bailly in Minnesota and has more than 35 years of accounting experience that includes tax consulting, cost segregation studies and repair v. capitalization studies. Serves on the board of the American Society of Cost Segregation Society of Cost Segregation Professionals (ASCSP) as the current Treasurer; Co-chairs the ASCSP’s Technical Standards Committee. He is also a member of the AICPA.

John Hoffman CCSP

John Hoffman has been actively involved with ASCSP since 2006. He has served as President, Vice President, Director and is currently a Past President Director and chair of the Education Committee. He formerly led the monthly technical calls and assists in annual conference planning. He is a director at Baker Tilly in Chicago focusing on cost segregation, tax credits, and incentives. He is a Certified member of ASCSP.

Rob Rahner SCSP

Rob is the Managing Director for Cost Recovery Solutions LLC. He has 20 years of diverse cost segregation experience from start up to Big 4. Rob has been on the ASCSP Board of Directors since 2013 and is a member of the Education Committee.

Matthew George

Matt has been chairman of the ASCSP Marketing Committee for several years and helped launch a very successful advertising program in 2014. In addition he sits in with the Conference Committee to help with site selection, agenda programs and activities. Matt is the Director and National Subject Matter Expert in Fixed Assets for Experis Finance in New York City.

Malik Javid CCSP

Malik has served as member of the Technical Standards Committee of ASCSP since 2013. He is Director of Cost Segregation at KBKG in Pasadena, CA and a certified member of the ASCSP.

Travis Mlodzik CCSP

Travis is a Certified Member of the ASCSP with 8.5 years of cost segregation experience. He serves on the Education Committee and has been a facilitator of the previous two exam prep days during the annual conference. He is a Cost Segregation Senior Associate at Eide Bailly LLP in Minnesota.

Ashley Sullivan SCSP

Ashley previously served as Chair of the Marketing Committee of ASCSP and now serves as Co-Chair of the committee. She is Manager of Cost Segregation at MS Consultants, LLC in Virginia Beach, VA and a Senior member of the ASCSP.

Joe Zenk CCSP

Joe is a Director and one of the leaders of Deloitte’s Cost Segregation Services practice.  Joe is a licensed civil engineer, certified cost professional engineer and Certified Member of ASCSP with 13 years of design, construction, and project management experience prior to joining Deloitte.  Joe has been with Deloitte since 1995 focusing on cost segregation services. Over the course of the past 20 years Joe has been responsible for delivering more than 1000 cost segregation projects ranging from power generation and process industries to office buildings and retail establishments.
