I have been involved with ASCSP since its inception in 2006 and was the Society’s first President. I have served on the Board of Directors three terms, Technical Standards Committee and chaired the Testing Committee for many years.
I have been in the cost segregation industry for 24 years and am a Fellow of the ASCSP.
I also served on the Board of Directors of YMCA Camp Coniston for over a decade as was recently conferred the status of Emeritus Board Member.
Giving back to such an amazing group of professional would be a privilege.
I have been a member of ASCSP since 2020 and presented at the conference in Arlington in 2022.
I have been in the cost segregation industry since 1996. I worked at Deloitte, RSM McGladrey, and my own consulting company prior to joining KBKG. With over 25 years in cost segregation at various sized companies, I am aware of the different
challenges faced by most everybody in the industry. I will work to ensure that everybody's voice is heard as we discuss policies and procedures that will shape the future of the industry.

Prior to entering the financial services industry, he completed two deployments with the US Navy in service of Operation New Dawn and Operation Enduring Freedom.
After earning his GI Bill, John attended Old Dominion University in Virginia where he graduated top of his class in Accounting and Business Analytics. I’m seeking election for the opportunity give back to the ASCSP and its membership. This organization has directly benefited my career, and I would like to build upon the astounding work of those that came before. Membership in the ASCSP adds to our legitimacy as professionals by offering certification, creating a common body of knowledge, and providing a forum to discuss tax opinions; all while getting to know the most influential people in the industry. These are the most important areas I’ll be most focused on preserving and improving if elected.

I am in a position that allows me more time to give back in a manner that serves all of us as professionals. I would like to help ASCSP in its ongoing mission of professional development and consumer education.
I have been a part of the ASCSP since 2017. I became a Certified Member in 2022 and have been on the Testing Committee since 2022.
I have worked at KBKG for 10 years. I have a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from California State University, Chico, and an Engineer-In-Training (EIT) license issued by the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists. I also currently serve as the Committee Secretary on the KBKG Volunteer Committee.
I am seeking election to the ASCSP Board of Directors because I am at a unique point in my career where I feel I am best poised to work with the more tenured members of the organization to grow the ASCSP and to serve as an example for newer members who are just starting with the ASCSP. I consider it my personal duty to help pave the way for others who are in the early stages of their career through mentorship and education. I feel that serving on the Board will give me an opportunity to work with all members of our organization to grow and advance our field and our careers.
Thank you for consideration.
